Sarchi is actually a famous village in Costa Rica known for its beautiful and intricate arts and crafts and colorful painted furniture. It was the original owner’s favorite South American village, so she named this room after that pretty hilltop village she so loved to visit. Sarchi literally translates as “relaxing place,” and we think you will find not only Sarchi, but the entire Casitas Estate, is just that.

For our guests, it provides a lovely hillside room, with king bed and full bath, wood burning kiva fireplace and all the other amenities that the other hilltop casitas offer. From Sarchi’s private patio, we also have many hummingbirds that like to float from one tree to another – it’s a haven for birdwatchers. Sometimes known as “the animal room” since bridal parties staying on the estate see many butterflies, birds and other wildlife almost daily during most of the year.
