Vibrant wedding at Casitas Estate | San Luis Obispo Wedding

Out of all the weddings I have photographed, this vibrant wedding at Casitas Estate was one of my absolute favorites. With breathtaking views surrounding the perfectly maintained grounds featuring a beautiful rose garden, a ceremony site surrounded by a vineyard and a lovely lawn with fairy lights for the reception, it’s hard to imagine a…

Jamie + Geoff

Overlooking beautiful central coast vineyards and rolling hillside, Jamie and Geoff’s wedding at the stunning Casitas Estate was nothing short of incredible! And while they were treated to a perfect summer’s day at this elegant central coast wedding venue, it wasn’t just the location or weather that made this day so amazing and complete, but rather the remarkable love these two have for each other and their families and friends. Jamie and Geoff are two of the kindest and most thoughtful people who placed the utmost importance on ensuring that their guests were treated to a truly memorable, intimate experience. Between their attention to detail and the outpouring of raw emotion, I know they more than succeeded!

San Luis locals Shauna and Rob said they knew that The Casitas Estate was their place right when they drove up to the top of the drive (even before they saw the views!) They’d done many searches for Central Coast wedding venues and when they saw images of the Spanish hacienda pop up, they said they were sold. They loved the Talavera tiles that are laced throughout the interior and exterior so much that they incorporated these touches into their unique wedding design. Super handy future hubby Rob created tile trays to sit under each table’s centerpieces and framed a larger grouping of Talavera that became their seating chart—with each guest and their table number etched into the stunning mosaic. Etsy would be proud!

Samantha and Jerry’s wedding was a memorable event that included great elements for family and friends. Many of Jerry’s family traveled all the way from China to be a part of the ceremony. Samantha and Jerry wanted to share something of themselves so they gave each guest a jar of honey from their own bee hives in Nipomo. They picked the Casitas Estate because of its picturesque location and wonderful accommodations.

Sarah + Deron

Sarah & Deron’s family took over the Casitas, staying en suite before and after the wedding–giving them quality time to celebrate and take it all in. While most of their guests were local, the Estate gave Sarah & Deron’s wedding the feel of a destination wedding as guests arrived and took in this secret gem that we love to share–hearing the oohs and ahhhs never get old, we love that the guests loved the property and setting for this beautiful picture perfect wedding. Having Cameron Ingalls keen eye as photographer made this already stunning couple even more spectacular.

The Casitas Estate is an incredible private location that is on my top list that I refer to brides. Its Spanish architecture is unique and brings a distinctly classy Mediterranean feel. With its vineyard backdrop, new ceremony location, poolside veranda, grass vanishing edge vista from the top of the property, or the beautiful enclosed front courtyard, there are a variety of vignettes on the property that will suit every wedding celebration with style and class. Here Brian & Stacy exchanged nuptials during one of the typical warm south San Luis Obispo days. The micro climate of this area shields from the central coast winds and catches the warm south sun.

Nicolas + Kristen

We very affectionately refer to this wedding as ‘The Frenchies’ Wedding’ because almost  all of Nicolas’ family and friends came over from France for the big event and the FOB openly shared his heartfelt enthusiasm about having them here to share his daughter’s special day, openly referring to them using this term–but with no malice…
